Fun Day of Fundraising at Local Brewery
Hamilton, MT - The
Women’s Wellness Clinic at Sapphire Community Health will host a fundraising
event at the Bitter Root Brewing Co. The
event will feature music by the Josh Farmer Band, and fun events for family
members of all ages. Event organizer
Heather Liebe said that kids will find face painting, balloon animals, a craft
table, and other fun activities. Men – and women, if they choose – can
participate in the “Manly Stashes” mustache contest. Mustaches will be judged
on creativity and crowd appeal, according to Liebe, who is contemplating
adorning her face with her own hair. “The
Ravalli Women’s Wellness Center values families and hopes to have the entire
family together for our fun events,” she said. The event’s proximity to April
Fool’s Day is just a happy coincidence, according to Liebe. www.fundraisingweb.org

Crazy Sports Nights Fundraising Event
Riverhead, NY - Friday
night's annual "Crazy Sports Night" fundraiser hosted by the
Riverhead PTO Executive Council was a successful fundraiser for a good
community cause even before the first whistle signaled the start of the games. "Crazy Sports Night" is a
competition among teams of teachers and staff at Riverhead's public schools,
who compete for the highest total points in games such as three-legged races
and tug of war. The sold-out event raised more than $5,400 in ticket sales
alone, PTO Executive Council treasurer Kristy Wilkinson said in an interview
last week. www.fundraisingweb.org
